Exciting and special Ellie's autumn and winter menu brings in the best of Andalucia's seasonal produce and sunshine. For cooler days why not start with a creamy garlic mushroom pot with parmesan gratin topping and toasts for dipping followed by a Catalan fish stew of hake, mussels and langostine in a saffron and lemon broth. For something lighter enjoy a paté of mackerel with pickled cucumber and lemon and thyme toasts and for mains a skewers of Presa Iberica on caramelized red apple with a salsa of soya, ginger and PX dressed with fresh dill.
Corredera 55 is always a wonderland for vegetarians with over 10 entirely vegetarian dishes on the menu including the outstanding Ottolenghi inspired cauliflower steak roasted in harissa marmelade, cumin and lemon served with almond and raisin rice (photo above!).
For fish lovers Corredera 55 offers the greatest variety of seafood dishes in Vejer including our much loved Octopus legs on the grill served with squid ink puree potato, and sweet potato spiced with garum masala to our Coconut fish curry with ginger, coriander and lime served with noodles and almonds. Yum!
So many of our customers have told us that our dessert menu is so good that that alone justifies a visit to Vejer.
